I’m a statistic for child obesity?

Question: I’m a statistic for child obesity?

(Posted by: Peter on 2008-01-05 17:59:11)

My mom had high blood pressure, so my chances of getting it is more than an average person, I’m male 15, 5’5, and weigh 145, each year I gain 10 pounds. I don’t want to be skinny, I just want to be healthy. It’s impossible for me to lose weight, my doctor said I should be 120. All my fat is in my thighs and buttocks. I am a compulsive eater. I eat when I’m bored and over eat when I’m hungry. Anybody, can you tell me what to do to lose the weight off my legs And what my diet should be, I tried to throw up, I tried not eating, I tried to eat one day and not eat the other. None of it work. Please, anybody, help me.

If you want to really lose weight and keep it off you've got to do it as a life style change but keep it healthy. You need to be commited to this. Healthy eating and exercise is the best way to lose weight. sparkteen.com would probably be a really good website to help you. Just don't throw and do not not eat. Try to keep busy and maybe if your bored and feel like eating maybe chew some gum to keep your mouth occupied or maybe brush your teeth so you won't eat right after or even just start to try opting for a healthier snack like carrots. Though at first you'll probably really wish you were eating cake eventually after seeing results you'll feel much more accomplished and happy with yourself. Hope I Helped! Good luck!

Don't try those links. Weight loss cant be found in a magic pill, at least not yet. All those pills state that they are to be used along with a healthy diet and exercise. Unfortunately what you are doing is not healthy. As far as diets are concerned what you are eating plays a role. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and whole grains. They are good for your heart and provide the nutrients you need to fill you up and to help you lose weight. Eat three moderate meals with two small snacks throuhout the day. The best exercise is walking. That should help with your thighs and such. When you are feeling bored go for a walk to distract you from eating. This is actually killing two birds with one stone. You don't eat when you're bored and you'll be exercising. Losing weight is about changing behaviors. I know it sounds easier said than done but these are the best tips anyone could give you.

Never starve yourself of purge. It's more harmful to your body and could result in mental illness. Just eat more healthy, raw, portioned foods since they fill you up more and dont contain many calories. Stay away from high calorie, high fat foods, soda, junk food, and sweets. I don't think you're obese, just a little bit overweight. As for the fat on your thighs and buttocks, buy workout videos that specifically target those areas and exercise about an hour daily. I hope this helps. = )
